The wolverine is a bear-like carnivore that ranges from North America through Siberia. They are aggressive and extremely strong predators; their large pads and claws allow them to run down prey in deep snow and they can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour. Wolverines are the largest living members of the Mustelidae family.
