The nilgai, also known as the blue bull, is the largest antelope in India and is native to the Indian subcontinent. Males are slate-gray to bluish in color with short horns, while females are tawny brown and hornless. Nilgai are fast runners and mostly graze on grasses and shrubs, often found in open plains, scrub forests, and agricultural areas.
