The margay, native to Central and South America, is a small spotted cat slightly larger than a house cat. This species is crepuscular, meaning that they are most active at twilight. The margay uses its climbing skills to prey on many tree dwelling species including various birds, reptiles, small mammals and insects. This species will also feed on various fruits when available.
